Premium Party Bus & Charter Service in Bloomington
Since 2011, Indianapolis Party Bus Service has been handling group transportation across Indiana — and Bloomington is one of our most-requested destinations, especially on Hoosiers football and basketball weekends when SR-37 backs up from Martinsville all the way to the stadium lots. We offer all-inclusive pricing online in under 30 seconds, so you know exactly what you're paying before you ever book. No hidden surprises on the back end.
Our 24/7/365 reservation team is one quick call away for any question about logistics — the right vehicle size, the best drop-off approach for your venue, or whether your group headcount justifies a minibus over a full charter bus. We offer a wide variety of vehicle types, which means you never pay for seats your group doesn't actually need. Whether it's a 15-passenger minibus for a brewery crawl through Olcott Park or a 56-passenger charter bus for a corporate convention group rolling into the Indiana Memorial Union, we match you with the right fit every time.
Groups across South-Central Indiana have trusted us for corporate shuttles, IU game-day trips, wedding weekends in Brown County, and prom nights across Monroe County. Give us a call at 317-288-3399 any time — we'll build a quote around your itinerary.

See Bloomington Party Bus Prices in Seconds
Bloomington party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, the date, and how long you need the bus. Our ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $204–$378/hour; mid-size party buses (20–30 passengers) run $244–$414/hour; large party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $294–$490/hour; and full-size charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Why Choose Us for Your Bloomington Party Bus Rental
Bloomington is a college town, which means parking on IU's campus during a sold-out game is essentially a contact sport. The lots along Fee Lane and 17th Street fill hours before kickoff, residential neighborhoods surrounding the stadium lock down with permit enforcement, and Kirkwood Avenue becomes gridlock by the time most groups are trying to get to the bars after the game. The same story plays out for move-in weekend in August, Little 500 weekend in April, and every sold-out show at the Buskirk-Chumley or the Mathers Museum.
Indianapolis Party Bus Service solves all of it in one call. Your group travels together, someone else handles the SR-37 crawl and the downtown parking scramble, and no one has to draw straws over who stays sober. We've been handling Indiana group transportation since 2011 — thousands of successful trips, zero hidden fees, and a 24/7 reservation team that answers questions at 11 p.m. the night before your event just as readily as at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday.
You'll know your exact price before you commit. The bus is right there when you walk out. That's the whole pitch.

Bloomington Party Bus Services We Offer
Indianapolis Party Bus Service handles group transportation for every occasion across Bloomington and South-Central Indiana — from airport transfers and IU game-day shuttles to wedding weekends in Brown County, prom nights, and corporate events at the IMU. Whatever brings your group together, we have a vehicle and a plan ready. Call 317-288-3399 to get moving today!

Bloomington Airport Shuttles & Transportation
The closest commercial airport to Bloomington is Indianapolis International Airport (IND) (7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46241), about 51 miles north via SR-37 and I-465 — roughly an hour in clear traffic, longer on IU game weekends when northbound SR-37 backs up well past Martinsville. Monroe County Airport (3101 S Walnut St Pike, Bloomington, IN 47401) handles charter and private aviation but no scheduled commercial service, so most Bloomington groups flying commercially go through Indy.
Rather than coordinating a caravan of cars that can't agree on a departure time, one Bloomington airport shuttle bus keeps the whole group on a single schedule — everyone boards together, luggage goes in the undercarriage bays, and the route up SR-37 is taken care of. For convention groups flying into IND for events at the Indiana Convention Center before continuing down to Bloomington, we handle multi-stop runs with ease. Call 317-288-3399 to book your Bloomington airport transportation today.

Bloomington Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Kirkwood Avenue is Bloomington's main bar corridor, and on a Friday night in September or October it is genuinely packed — think bumper-to-bumper on College Avenue, zero open street parking south of 3rd Street, and Ubers quoting 20-minute waits after midnight. A Bloomington bachelorette party bus rental sidesteps all of it. Your group boards together, the bar crawl runs on your schedule instead of Uber's, and nobody has to cut the night short because they drove.
Start the evening at a dinner on the square near the Monroe County Courthouse, work through stops at spots like The Tap, The Vid, or Village Deli, and close out wherever the group decides — no one's watching the clock for a ride home to arrive. Our 15–50 passenger party buses come with a full-length bar, LED lighting, and a Bluetooth sound system to keep the energy up between stops. Call 317-288-3399 and we'll build a custom Kirkwood crawl itinerary around your group's night.

Bloomington Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival at your venue is one of the more memorable ways to kick off a Sweet 16 or quinceañera celebration in Bloomington — especially when the whole crew is already celebrating on the ride over. Our party buses are fully customizable: pre-load a playlist, coordinate the lighting colors, and the onboard bar is ready for your group's beverages before the bus pulls away from the curb.
Whether the celebration is heading to an event space near downtown Bloomington, a dinner in the Arts District along 6th Street, or a venue rental out in Monroe County, we accommodate groups from a tight 15-person crew up to a 56-passenger full charter bus for larger family gatherings. For adult milestone birthdays headed out for a night on Kirkwood or a Brown County weekend, a Bloomington birthday party bus rental means your guests aren't sorting out who stays sober across a multi-car caravan. Call 317-288-3399 any time to plan your celebration!

Bloomington Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Bloomington's two main concert venues sit in very different parts of the city and have very different parking situations. The Buskirk-Chumley Theater (114 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408) is right on Kirkwood Avenue in the heart of downtown — street parking disappears fast on show nights, and the nearest garage on Walnut fills up within an hour of the box office opening. The IU Auditorium (1211 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405) sits on the IU campus, where event parking requires a pre-purchased pass and the lots along East 7th Street are often shared with other campus events on the same evening.
A Bloomington concert bus rental keeps your group together from pickup to last song — no one circling downtown trying to parallel park on College Avenue, and no one calling for a rideshare at midnight on a Friday when surge pricing has doubled. The bus drops you at the venue entrance and waits nearby for pickup when the show lets out. Call 317-288-3399 for a free quote.

Bloomington Corporate Event Transportation
Indiana University's campus anchors a significant share of Bloomington's corporate and conference activity. The Indiana Memorial Union (900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405) is one of the largest student unions in the country and hosts major conferences, alumni events, and corporate retreats throughout the year. The IMU's Biddle Hotel & Conference Center provides meeting space but extremely limited event parking — most attendees are directed to the Jordan Avenue Garage or the Surface Lot 26 on E 7th Street, both of which fill quickly on heavy campus days.
A Bloomington corporate bus rental lets your team arrive together and focused — no one circling campus lots for 20 minutes before a keynote. Minibuses with WiFi and power outlets keep remote workers productive on the run down from Indianapolis, and a charter bus handles larger delegations heading to multi-day retreats at IU or corporate events at the Monroe Convention Center (302 S College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403). Call 317-288-3399 to discuss group rates and recurring shuttle schedules.

Bloomington Private Event Transportation Services
Little 500 weekend — held each April at Bill Armstrong Stadium (1001 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408) — is the single most chaotic transportation weekend in Bloomington's calendar. Indiana University's famous bike race draws tens of thousands of alumni, families, and visitors into a college town that is not built for that volume of cars. The neighborhoods east of campus enforce residential permits strictly, the lots along Fee Lane and 17th Street sell out before noon, and rideshare wait times spike through the afternoon and into the night.
A private charter bus rental keeps your alumni group or family reunion together from one flat-rate pickup to drop-off — no splitting into five cars with five different parking strategies. The same logic applies to IU commencement weekends in May, when Assembly Hall and the surrounding lots host multiple ceremonies back to back and every parking garage within six blocks is full by 9 a.m. Call 317-288-3399 and we'll build a transportation plan around your specific event date.

Bloomington Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Monroe County runs April through May, and demand across the region spikes fast — Bloomington High School North, Bloomington High School South, and schools in surrounding counties all schedule proms within a six-week window. For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing or no availability. A typical 6-hour prom rental for 30 students — school pickup, a photo stop at Dunn Meadow on the IU campus or the Monroe County Courthouse lawn, venue drop-off, and after-party return — costs considerably less when booked four to six months early than when families call in March.
Indianapolis Party Bus Service works directly with parent committees and student groups across Monroe County to confirm pickup plans, headcount, and any school-specific requirements. Our 15–50 passenger party buses come with the full lighting and sound setup that makes the ride itself part of the night. Call 317-288-3399 today to hold your date.

Bloomington School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones across Monroe County rely on Indianapolis Party Bus Service for field trip transportation — we know the campus layout, the drop-off logistics, and the approach roads that work for oversized vehicles at each venue. The WonderLab Museum of Science, Health, and Technology (308 W 4th St, Bloomington, IN 47404) is a popular field trip destination for elementary groups, with curbside drop-off available on West 4th Street just steps from the entrance. The Monroe County History Center (202 E 6th St, Bloomington, IN 47408) and the Mathers Museum of World Cultures (416 N Indiana Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408) on the IU campus both accommodate school group visits with advance booking.
Private charter buses give students and teachers a climate-controlled ride, overhead storage for backpacks and lunch bags, and — on longer runs to venues like Spring Mill State Park (3333 IN-60, Mitchell, IN 47446) — an onboard restroom that keeps the day running on schedule. ADA-accessible buses are always available. Call 317-288-3399 for school field trip bus rentals in Bloomington.

Bloomington Sporting Event Transportation
IU football at Memorial Stadium (1 Bill Armstrong Stadium, Bloomington, IN 47408) draws capacity crowds of 52,000-plus, and the parking situation around East 17th Street and Fee Lane is notoriously tight even with advance-purchase passes. The lots east of the stadium along Dunn Street fill well before kickoff, and the university enforces timed entry for tailgaters — so arriving late with no pass means a very long walk from a residential side street.
Hoosiers basketball at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (1001 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408) shares the same parking infrastructure, and sold-out Big Ten matchups against Michigan, Purdue, or Wisconsin can push the pre-game lot situation as hard as any football Saturday. A Bloomington sporting event charter bus drops your group near the stadium entrances, keeps tailgate gear in the undercarriage bays, and waits nearby for the post-game pickup — while everyone else is still waiting in the exit queue on SR-45. Call 317-288-3399 for game-day group transportation.

Bloomington Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Brown County — just 15 miles east of Bloomington on IN-46 — is one of Indiana's top wedding destination corridors, with venues like The Wilds Venue in Nashville, Indiana drawing guests from across the state. IN-46 east of Bloomington narrows through hilly terrain and gets genuinely difficult to navigate in the dark after a reception, especially for out-of-town guests who've never driven it before. A Bloomington wedding shuttle handles the whole run — hotel block pickup in Bloomington, ceremony drop-off, and reception return — so no one in formalwear is navigating hairpin turns on a two-lane county road at 10 p.m.
For on-campus IU weddings at the Indiana Memorial Union or receptions at the Monroe Convention Center (302 S College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403), a minibus loop from downtown hotel blocks keeps guests off Kirkwood Avenue traffic on a Saturday night. Because we've been handling Indiana group transportation since 2011, your wedding timeline stays on track with staged pickups, clear departure windows, and a single point of contact. Call 317-288-3399 for a free wedding transportation quote!

Bloomington Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Monroe County and the surrounding hills sit in the heart of Indiana wine country — Oliver Winery alone draws over 250,000 visitors a year to its grounds north of Bloomington on IN-37. A Bloomington winery tour party bus rental keeps everyone together across multiple tasting stops without anyone sorting out who has to stay sober.
A well-built Monroe County wine loop might run north on SR-37 to Oliver Winery (8024 N State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47404) — Indiana's largest winery, with a sprawling outdoor tasting lawn and a food menu — then east toward Butler Winery (6200 E Robinson Rd, Bloomington, IN 47408) before swinging through the arts district in downtown Nashville, Indiana for a stop at a Brown County tasting room. For craft beer fans, Bloomington's own brewery scene runs from Switchyard Brewing Co. (631 W Edgewood Dr, Bloomington, IN 47404) to Upland Brewing Co. (350 W 11th St, Bloomington, IN 47404) — the kind of multi-stop evening that only works cleanly with a bus handling every pickup and drop-off. Call 317-288-3399 for a free quote!

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Bloomington Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Bloomington?
Bloomington party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle size, your event date, and how long you need the bus. Our ranges: small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $204–$378/hour; mid-size (20–30 passengers) run $244–$414/hour; large party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $294–$490/hour; and full-size charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. IU game weekends and Little 500 in April see higher demand and tighter availability across the board.
Call 317-288-3399 for a free, all-inclusive quote in under 30 seconds — no hidden costs, no surprises.
How does a charter bus get to and from IU's campus?
Indiana University's campus is accessible from the east via SR-45 (3rd Street) and from the north via Indiana Avenue and Fee Lane. Charter buses drop off near Memorial Stadium and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall along East 17th Street, with the Fee Lane lots set aside for oversized vehicles on event days. For academic building and IMU drop-offs, East 7th Street is the primary commercial corridor.
Because IU event-day traffic management shifts the approach routes depending on the game or event, we confirm the current plan for your specific date when you book and always recommend checking the IU Parking and Transportation page before arrival.
Can a party bus handle the drive from Indianapolis to Bloomington?
Yes — and it's one of our most common runs. Indianapolis to Bloomington is about 51 miles via SR-37 South (soon to be fully upgraded to I-69), running roughly 55–65 minutes in normal conditions. On IU home football Saturdays and Little 500 weekend, northbound SR-37 backs up significantly on the return trip — sometimes adding 45 minutes or more to the drive home.
With a charter bus or party bus, your group relaxes on the return while the route is handled, instead of white-knuckling a stop-and-go crawl past Martinsville.
When is the best time to book for Little 500 weekend?
Little 500 weekend in late April is the tightest booking window in Bloomington's transportation calendar — demand across all vehicle types spikes, and the best options disappear quickly. We recommend booking by January at the absolute latest, and ideally by December if your group needs a specific vehicle size or wants a party bus with the full onboard amenity package. Alumni groups and returning family groups who book year over year tend to hold their dates in the fall.
Call 317-288-3399 as soon as your dates are confirmed — waiting until March means premium pricing or no availability.
Do you serve venues in Brown County and Nashville, Indiana?
Yes. Nashville, Indiana — about 15 miles east of Bloomington on IN-46 — is a regular destination for winery tours, wedding shuttles, and fall foliage weekend groups. The route through the Brown County hills is scenic but narrow, with no realistic parking solution at most Nashville venues for a group arriving in multiple cars.
A single charter bus or minibus drops your group at the venue entrance, waits nearby, and handles the return run — no one navigating the IN-46 curves after a long evening out. We also run to Brown County State Park (1405 IN-46 E, Nashville, IN 47448) for family reunion and school group outings.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Bloomington events, booking three to six months in advance gets you the best vehicle selection and the best rate. IU home football and basketball games — especially rivalry matchups against Purdue or Michigan — and Little 500 weekend in April warrant booking even earlier. Prom season (April–May) fills up fast across Monroe County and surrounding school districts; book by January for prom or expect premium pricing and limited availability.
For weddings, nine to twelve months of lead time is standard during peak wedding season. The earlier you call, the better your options. Lock in your date at 317-288-3399.
Popular Bloomington Party Bus Destinations
A Bloomington party bus itinerary can take your group to IU game days, winery trails, downtown nightlife, and everything in between. Here are six of the most popular Bloomington destinations we serve — with the logistics details that matter for group transportation.

Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall
Home of the Indiana Hoosiers men's and women's basketball programs, Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (1001 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408) holds 17,222 fans and has hosted sold-out games since 1971. On Big Ten nights against Purdue or Michigan State, every parking lot within six blocks fills before tip-off. Charter buses drop groups along East 17th Street near the arena's main entrances, with the Fee Lane corridor handling oversized vehicle parking on event days.
The walk from the nearest public garage can exceed 15 minutes on high-demand nights. Group transportation drops you steps from Gate 1 while everyone else is hunting for a spot. Lot assignments and road closures vary by event — check the IU Parking and Transportation page before your visit.
Address: 1001 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408
Phone: 812-855-4006

Memorial Stadium
IU football's Memorial Stadium seats 52,929 and sits just north of Assembly Hall at the east end of campus. Tailgating opens in the E lot and along Dunn Street four hours before kickoff, and the university requires advance-purchase parking passes for all event-day lots — none are sold on site. SR-45 and Fee Lane are the two primary vehicle approaches, and both get congested starting 90 minutes before game time.
A charter bus drops your group near the stadium's main gates on East 17th Street and handles the post-game exit from the lot while the surrounding streets are still clearing. Visit IU Athletics ticketing to confirm current parking pass options before game day.
Address: 1 Bill Armstrong Stadium, Bloomington, IN 47408
Phone: 812-855-4006

Oliver Winery
Indiana's largest winery, Oliver Winery (8024 N State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47404) draws over 250,000 visitors a year to its 200-acre estate north of Bloomington. The grounds include a sprawling outdoor tasting lawn, a full food menu, and regular live music programming — making it an obvious anchor for a Monroe County wine tour. The winery sits directly on SR-37, with ample bus parking in its main lot off the highway.
Groups of ten or more can arrange private tastings with advance booking through the winery's events team. Pair Oliver with a stop at Butler Winery to the east and a craft beer finish at Upland Brewing on 11th Street for a full-day itinerary that moves easily on one bus. Visit the Oliver Winery website to book group tastings in advance.
Address: 8024 N State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47404
Phone: 812-876-5800

Monroe Convention Center
Downtown Bloomington's primary convention and event facility, the Monroe Convention Center (302 S College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403) hosts conferences, trade shows, banquets, and public events throughout the year — and its location one block off Kirkwood Avenue puts it in the middle of the city's most congested parking zone. The attached parking garage on South College Avenue has a limited number of spaces, and on days when the Farmers' Market is running or an IU event is pulling from the same lots, availability drops quickly. Charter bus drop-off uses the College Avenue entrance, with overflow parking on South Walnut Street.
For multi-day convention groups arriving from Indianapolis or other Indiana cities, a shuttle loop from downtown hotel blocks keeps delegates on schedule without parking stress. Visit Monroe County CVB for group event planning resources.
Address: 302 S College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403
Phone: 812-349-3700

Buskirk-Chumley Theater
Built in 1922 and fully restored, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater (114 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408) is Bloomington's beloved independent arts venue — a 600-seat house that books concerts, comedy, film, and performing arts events year-round on the most foot-trafficked block in downtown. The building has no dedicated parking, and Kirkwood Avenue itself is pedestrian-heavy on event nights. The closest public options are the Walnut Street Garage (two blocks north) and the Madison Street Garage (one block south), both of which fill within the first hour of doors.
A concert bus rental drops your group at the Kirkwood entrance and picks everyone up after the show — no one circles College Avenue looking for a meter. Check the Buskirk-Chumley website for current programming and event times.

Brown County State Park
Indiana's largest state park, Brown County State Park (1405 IN-46 E, Nashville, IN 47448) covers 16,000 acres of hardwood forest in the hills east of Bloomington — and in peak fall color season (mid-October through early November), the IN-46 corridor from Bloomington to Nashville becomes one of the most congested two-lane roads in the state. The park's main entrance off IN-46 leads to Abe Martin Lodge and the main trailheads, with a dedicated bus/oversized vehicle lot adjacent to the main parking area near the saddle barn. For family reunions, church retreats, or school field trip groups heading out for a day hike or a lodge lunch, a charter bus handles the 25-minute drive from Bloomington without parking stress on either end.
Fall weekends book fast — plan transportation well in advance. Visit the Brown County State Park website for current trail and lodge conditions.
